Brazilian legend Pele has joined the praise for Sir Alex Ferguson
Global football icon Pele has joined the praise of Sir Alex Ferguson upon his retirement claimed the Scot is his idol.
Ferguson announced on Thursday that he will retire later this month after 27 years in charge of Manchester United.
And Brazilian legend Pele has paid tribute to the Premier League boss via his official verified Twitter account.
"Sir Alex, you were my idol for a coach, and you are an example for all future generations," wrote the three-time World Cup winner.
Before adding: "Sir Alex, you are a legend and your achievements are unlikely to ever be surpassed."
