Why Brock Lesnar Was Kept Off WWE Raw This Week
Brock Lesnar was originally scheduled to appear on WWE Raw this past Monday, but when The Rock left due to injury, plans changed for Lesnar as a result.
The script called for Brock Lesnar and The Rock to work together on Raw, setting up a potential match for WrestleMania 30 next year in New Orleans. However, Rock's abdominal tear forced him to fly home early, leaving Vince McMahon and his team to re-write the show last minute.
It's being reported that Vince chose to leave Brock Lesnar off TV as well in an effort to save the limited dates he has for Brock in his new two-year contract. Vince didn't want to waste a TV appearance for Brock without a major program in place.
There's currently no word on whether or not the plans going forward are still for Rock vs Brock at WM 30. We'll keep you updated.
