Usain Bolt confirmed for Golden Gala meeting in Rome in June
World record holder Usain Bolt has confirmed he will run the 100m at Rome's Golden Gala in June.
It will be the third straight year that the Jamaican superstar has run at the Stadio Olimpico, with this year's meeting taking place on June 6.
Rome is the opening European meet in the Diamond League season.
Bolt has also committed to run the 200m at the Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway, on June 13, the 4x100m relay at the Golden Spike in the Czech city of Ostrava on June 27, and the 200m again at the Areva Meeting in Paris on July 6.
The races will be part of his preparations for the World Championships which take place in Moscow in August.
