Corey Brewer held his nerve as the Denver Nuggets extended their franchise-record winning run to 14 games with 101-100 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Brewer landed three free throws with 2.1 seconds left and finished with a career-high 29 points to secure Denver's 16th successive win at the Pepsi Center - despite the best efforts of Damien Wilkins, who poured in 24 points for the Sixers.

The Portland Trail Blazers enjoyed dominant second and third quarters against the Chicago Bulls en route to a 99-89 success.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points and Damian Lillard 24 for the Blazers, with the Bulls unable to make up the deficit despite winning the final period 36-19.

The Sacramento Kings, meanwhile, collected their third straight win with a 101-98 success against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Isaiah Thomas contributed a game-high 24 points for the Kings at Sleep Train Arena, condemning the Timberwolves to a ninth consecutive road loss.
