The Undertaker Off Television Past Extreme Rules?
According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, the Shield's attack on The Undertaker during last Friday's episode of Smackdown was a way for WWE to write The Deadman off television, most likely until this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view at the earlier.
There were other conflicting reports speculating that The Undertaker would be used at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view to compensate for CM Punk's absence and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's injury. However, with John Cena reportedly ready to go for his WWE Championship defense against Ryback next month, it seems The Undertaker's brief return was simply for the European tour.
