Keegan Bradley still in front but Bae just one back
Keegan Bradley remains on course to win the Byron Nelson Championship for a second time in three years but his lead is down to a single shot with a round to go.
Bradley, who opened the tournament with a course record 10-under 60 on Thursday, is aiming to become the first wire-to-wire winner of the Texas tournament since Tom Watson in 1980.
But despite shooting a decent two-under 68 in gusting winds on Saturday to finish on 13-under, his advantage is down to the minimum margin after playing partner Sang-Moon Bae of Korea posted his third straight 66.
Bradley led by two shots at the turn after recovering from back-to-back bogeys at five and six with birdies at the seventh and ninth and the 2011 USPGA winner made a further gain at the par five 11th.
But with the chasing pack also finding birdies he couldn't distance himself at the top of the leaderboard.
The American Ryder Cup star found another birdie at the par five 16th after holing from 12 feet but that was only to stay two in front of Bae who hit an excellent third to leave a tap-in for his four.
Both men parred the par three 17th but at the 18th Bradley's tee-shot landed near a rock and, after a chip out, he bogeyed it for the third day running.
With Bae making par it meant Bradley's three-shot overnight lead had been whittled down to just one.
Tom Gillis (67) remains very much in the hunt at 11-under - just two back - after holing from sand at the last for an unexpected birdie when a bogey looked on the cards.
It's a further shot back to Scott Piercy who rode a hot putter to post a 66.
German duo Martin Kaymer and Marcel Siem are the leading Europeans on six-under after carding 69 and 68 respectively.
