Running order switched for Premier League's Judgement Night in Brighton
The PDC has confirmed a new running order for the Premier League's "Judgement Night" in Brighton.
The bottom two players in the league table after Thursday's games at the Brighton Centre will be eliminated from the competition and the PDC has adjusted the order of the fixtures involving the four men in the relegation mix.
Adrian Lewis needs just one point to be certain of safety and his clash with Raymond van Barneveld will open the night as planned, but the second game will now be Phil Taylor's clash with Robert Thornton, the only fixture that doesn't affect the relegation situation.
Wes Newton plays Andy Hamilton in the third game of the night as originally scheduled, knowing that a defeat will see him eliminated, while a draw would leave him relying on a defeat for Gary Anderson and a heavy defeat for Simon Whitlock to qualify.
Anderson - currently bottom of the table - will now face Wade in the penultimate game of the night, needing to better the results of both Newton and Whitlock if he is to secure safety.
Whitlock's clash with Michael van Gerwen will now be the final game of the night, rather than the second. The Australian will be safe if both Newton and Anderson lose their games, but otherwise there will be pressure on him to take points off the dynamic Dutchman.
The bottom-placed player will walk away with £15,000 in prize money and the ninth-placed man will take home £20,000. However, they will both miss the rest of the competition and the chance to claim the £150,000 first prize.

Phil Taylor v Robert Thornton
Wes Newton v Andy Hamilton
