PSG chairman planning to hold contract talks with David Beckham
Paris St Germain chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi claims he is planning to hold talks with David Beckham regarding a contract extension.
The deal Beckham penned upon his arrival in the French capital in January is due to expire at the end of the season.
PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has led the calls for the former England international to be offered fresh terms, with the 37-year-old having shown that he is still capable of turning out at a competitive level.
Beckham remains coy regarding his future at Parc des Princes, with his focus locked on ending the current campaign on a high.
Al-Khelaifi is, however, planning to hold discussions in the near future with a man he considers to be one of his 'best decisions'.
The Qatari sports businessman told L'Equipe: "We are going to talk with him about it. But frankly, we really want to keep him with us next season.
"He's fantastic, on and off the pitch. Signing David has been one of my best decisions.
"He's an outstanding person, as a player, as an ambassador. He has really made an impact in this squad. Everybody loves him."
