Poole lose injured Polish star Robert Miskowiak for Elite League opener
Robert Miskowiak has been ruled out of Poole's Elite League opener against King's Lynn following his crash on Good Friday.
The Polish star is still in pain from a leg injury and is forced to sit out Wednesday's clash at Wimborne Road.
The Pirates will use rider-replacement to cover for his absence and promoter Matt Ford said: "It is dreadfully unlucky for poor Robert.
"It was more of a Bad Friday for him, with a tapes handicap in his first ride and then that heavy fall when battling for the lead in his second ride.
"At Swindon the night before he showed glimpses of what he is capable of in this league, and I think that he will settle in and become a reliable contributor to our points. I know for sure that he is very disappointed about having to miss our meeting."
