The Miami Heat register 26th successive victory
The Miami Heat moved a step closer to the NBA winning streak as they thumped the Charlotte Bobcats 109-77.
LeBron James had 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds as the Heat registered their 26th successive victory - seven shy of Los Angeles Lakers' 1971-72 record.
Norris Cole and Chris Bosh contributed 15 points apiece while Ray Allen added 14 off the bench for Miami. Kemba Walker scored 20 points in a losing cause for the Bobcats.
Philadelphia snapped their 15-game losing run away from home with a 117-103 win over Sacramento. Dorell Wright scored 22 points, Jrue Holiday 21 and Lavoy Allen 20 for the 76ers, with Isaiah Thomas' game-high 25-point haul not enough for the Kings.
Season high
Chicago claimed back-to-back road wins with a 104-97 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nate Robinson had 22 points and 10 assists for the Bulls.
Goran Dragic scored 31 points for Phoenix but it was not enough to prevent the Suns losing 102-100 to the Brooklyn Nets.
The Dallas Mavericks saw off Utah 113-108, Mike James' season-high 19 points playing a big part in dealing the Jazz a ninth straight road loss, while James Harden scored 29 points - including a decisive jumper with 4.5 seconds remaining - to hand the Houston Rockets a narrow 96-95 triumph over the San Antonio Spurs.
Atlanta rallied for a 104-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks with Al Horford scoring 24 points for the Hawks, while 24 points and 10 rebounds from Kevin Durant lifted the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 103-83 success against the Portland Trail Blazers.
