Ronaldinho, Neymar and Alexandre Pato called up for Brazil friendly against Bolivia
Hom-based stars Ronaldinho, Neymar and Alexandre Pato have been called up by Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for Saturday's away friendly match against Bolivia.
The match in Santa Cruz de la Sierra will raise funds for the family of Kevin Spada, a 14-year-old who was killed by a projectile during a Copa Libertadores match between Bolivian side San Jose and Brazil's Corinthians.
With overseas players unavailable for either side, Scolari has included four players from Brazil's Under-20 team who have failed to qualify for the Under-20 World Cup.
They are Palmeiras forward Leandro, Nautico defender Douglas Santos, Corinthians goalkeeper Matheus Vidotto and Botafogo defender Doria.
"I expect to profit from this match by watching some players who might be back in the main national team," Scolari said.
Fluminense striker Fred, who has scored three goals in the last three internationals for Brazil, was notably absent from the squad.
Brazil squad: Jefferson (Botafogo), Matheus Vidotto (Corinthians); Douglas Santos (Nautico), Andre Santos (Gremio - on loan from Arsenal), Rever (Atletico Mineiro), Doria (Botafogo), Dede (Vasco da Gama); Jean (Fluminense), Arouca (Santos), Ralf (Corinthians), Paulinho (Corinthians), Jadson (Sao Paulo); Neymar (Santos), Ronaldinho (Atletico Mineiro), Alexandre Pato (Corinthians), Leandro Damiao (Internacional), Osvaldo (Sao Paulo), Leandro (Palmeiras).
