NHL: Presidents' Trophy success for the Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks sealed the Presidents' Trophy with a 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.
Patrick Kane led the way for the Blackhawks with a goal an two assists as they ensured they will finish the regular season with the league's best record.
Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp and Johnny Oduya also scored for the Blackhawks, while Nail Yakupov tallied for the Oilers.
The Detroit Red Wings retook eighth place in the Western Conference with a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Pavel Datsyuk, Jordin Tootoo and Johan Franzen got the goals for Detroit, who edged ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Martin St Louis scored a hat-trick in the Tampa Bay Lightning's 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Phoenix Coyotes beat the San Jose Sharks 2-1.

Good thing they won the Presidents Trophy. Now they're cursed. I dont like Minnesota because they're a weak team, but good luck to them in the first round. They're gonna need it.
