Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators book semi-final places
The Chicago Blackhawks are through to the Western Conference semi-finals after two goals from Marian Hossa led them to a 5-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.
Marcus Kruger, Andrew Shaw and Patrick Sharp also scored as the Presidents' Trophy winners sealed the best-of-seven series 4-1, with Torrey Mitchell netting Minnesota's reply.
Up next for the Blackhawks will be either Anaheim or Detroit, with the Ducks leading their series 3-2.
Cory Conacher netted twice as the Ottawa Senators booked their place in the Eastern Conference semis with a 6-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.
Zack Smith, Kyle Turris, Daniel Alfredsson and Erik Condra also scored for the seventh-seeded Senators, who sealed a 4-1 series win.
PK Subban scored Montreal's only goal, with Craig Anderson stopping 33 shots for Ottawa, who will next take on either the Pittsburgh Penguins or the New York Islanders.
The Penguins have claimed the upper hand in that series, going 3-2 up thanks to a 4-0 victory in Pittsburgh.
Sidney Crosby, Tyler Kennedy, Douglas Murray and Kris Letang scored for the Penguins, while Tomas Vokoun made 31 saves.
The Penguins will look to finish things off in New York on Saturday.
