Lotus' Kimi Raikkonen handed three-place grid penalty for 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix
Lotus' qualifying woes in Qualifying for the Malaysian GP have been compounded by a three-place grid penalty for Kimi Raikkonen.
The Australian GP victor's punishment has relegated him to just tenth on the starting grid for Sunday's race.
As a result of Raikkonen's demotion, McLaren pair Jenson Button and Sergio Perez have advanced to seventh and ninth respectively, while Force India driver Adrian Sutil has been promoted to eighth.
In a brief statement, the race stewards confirmed that Raikkonen had been punished for impeding the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg during the third and final stage of qualifying.
