Juventus will get their hands on the Serie A title this weekend with a result at home to Palermo.

The Turin club are 11 points clear of nearest challengers Napoli with four matches remaining, and only need a draw at Juventus Stadium to lift the trophy.

With seven wins on the trot in the league, Juve are overwhelming favourites to beat a Palermo side who lie above the bottom three on goal difference only.

However, Palermo club president Maurizio Zamparini has promised his players are ready to do battle for the points they so desperately need.

"We will go to Turin to win, knowing that we probably only have a two per cent chance," he told Radio Radio. "But we need that win and it will be the same conditions as in any other match, 11 against 11.

"Palermo are not a team of misfits and we are going there to fight and to take home points. In order to be safe we need to get 39 or 40 points, so Turin must fear us as well."

Napoli are also in action on Sunday but, as the evening kick-off against Inter Milan, they will take to the pitch knowing whether the title race is over or whether they live to fight another day.

Inter have concerns of their own as they are in danger of missing out on Europe altogether, with Andrea Stramaccioni's men currently two points adrift of the top five.

With Juve and Napoli set to claim the top two places, AC Milan have set their sights on holding on to the third and final Champions League spot ahead of the visit of Torino on Sunday.

Defender Cristian Zapata told the club's official website: "It won't be easy against Turin as they're playing good football. They'll come to the San Siro to fight and they need points to stay up as well. But we'll be focused on the three points to hang on to third place. It's vital we get back into the Champions League."

Milan are two points ahead of fourth-placed Fiorentina, who have won their last three fixtures and will take on fifth-placed Roma on Saturday evening full of confidence.

At the other end of the table, Pescara's relegation from the top flight will be confirmed if they lose at Genoa in a battle between two sides in the bottom three.

Pescara are currently 10 points from safety while their opponents are third from bottom following a 1-0 win over Chievo last time out. The two teams sandwich Siena, who travel to mid-table Catania on Sunday afternoon looking to make up the two points on the sides above them and halt a two-match losing run.

Sampdoria would give their survival hopes a boost with victory over Udinese, although they have not won in the league since March 3, while Chievo can also pull away from the bottom three with three points at home to Cagliari.

Also on Sunday, Bologna make the trip to Lazio and Parma are at home to Atalanta.
