Ottawa Senators edge out the Boston Bruins
Ottawa Senators will face Montreal Canadiens in the play-offs after recording a 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins in the final match of the regular season.
The Senators needed third-period strikes from Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Kyle Turris to clinch seventh spot in the Eastern Conference, though.
Erik Condra and Jared Cowen had given them a 2-0 lead before the Bruins hit back to level through Rich Peverley and Dennis Seidenberg.
Having surrendered their Northeast title to Montreal, Bruins will now tackle Toronto Maple Leafs in the end-of-season shootout.
