Boston Bruins on the brink of Eastern Conference final

A hat-trick from David Krejci helped the Boston Bruins register a 4-3 overtime win Toronto Maple Leafs.

Krejci completed his treble in the extra period to help Boston move into a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Patrice Bergeron also scored for Boston, while Clarke MacArthur, Joffrey Lupul and Cody Franson netted for Toronto.

Slava Voynov scored eight minutes into overtime to give the Los Angeles Kings a 3-2 win over the St Louis Blues.

Jeff Carter scored the other two goals for the Kings, who took a 3-2 series lead over the Blues.

Alexander Steen and Alex Pietrangelo scored fro St Louis.

It was a similar story in Anaheim where Nick Bonino's overtime goal gave the Ducks a 3-2 win and the same series lead over the Detroit Red Wings.

Francois Beauchemin and Kyle Palmieri scored Anaheim's other two goals.

The New York Rangers evened up their series with the Washington Capitals at 2-2 thanks to a 4-3 win
