David Haye ready to make another comeback this summer
Former world heavyweight and cruiserweight champion David Haye will announce his return to the ring at a press conference on Thursday.
The 32-year-old has not been in the ring since July 2012 when he beat Dereck Chisora in one of the most-hyped fights of last year.
Haye has since taken place in reality TV show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here in which he finished third behind actress Charlie Brooks and former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts.
He recently applied to the British Boxing Board of Control for the return of his licence and is expected to make his ring return in the summer, with June tabbed as a likely starting point.
Haye fought Chisora under a Luxembourg Boxing Federation licence after his opponent lost his BBBC licence following their unseemly brawl at a press conference in Munich.
His long-term aim is another crack at the world titles held by Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, but Haye is expected to need at least a couple of fights before being granted a shot at either.
